O2 is a leading pan-European telecomms firm which has operations in Britain, Germany, Eire , the Czech Republic, Isle of Man and Slovakia.

A brief account

Back in 17th of Nov 2001, mobile communications firms which were part of UK Telecomms were split into a few key firms.
