What do you think about young girls physically changing their appearances to look like celebrities?

between, plastic surgery, makeup, hair weaves…eating disorders, tattoos, piercings, etc. many young women go to extreme lengths to want to look like their favorite celebrities. many young girls become sexually active at an early age. spend tons of money trying to buy the designer clothes of their favorite celebrities. focusing so much on their appearance to look like these celebrities. i remember hearing this song, stupid girls by pink. it reminds me of my question. girls going to extreme lengths to want to look like, want to be like their favorite celebrities. i remember my 9 year old neighbor when britney spears first came out in a halter top. what do you think?

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong

1) Being gay is not natural.

And real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning, tattoos, piercings and silicon breasts…

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay.

In the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior.

People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. Lamps are next.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all;

Hence why women are still property, blacks still can’t marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed;

And we can’t let the sanctity of Britney Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children.

So therefore, gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our population isn’t out of control, our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay child?ren,

Since, of course, straight parents only raise straight children.
Gay marriage is not supported by religion.

In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home.

Which is exactly why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms.

Just like we haven’t adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

~~Our country was built on change. We went from slave trade to freeing slaves. We went from riding horse back to cars with horse power. We went from out houses to bathrooms in the home. Those opposed to Gay Marriage are quick to quote the bible. Stating that God would be against it. I’m not religious but I have read the book in the past. No where in it did it say “We are all God’s children (except for gays) and I will condone marriage between those in love (except for gays)”. In any ways does that make sense or even fair? Would you tell anyone who is mentally handicap or is physically disabled that they will go to hell because they aren’t the “norm” like you or me? I’m not saying that being gay is a disability, but to not include those who don’t fit your mold of “normal” is down right wrong. Everyone is entitled to love. Everyone should be entitled to marriage!!

Do you think today’s music and movies is missing talented singers and actors/actresses?

it seems like that to me- there are no aretha franklin’s, diana rosses’, Motown groups, etc.
there are no julia roberts, richard gere’s, etc.
a lot of our entertainers have the singing voices i could imitiate, like for instance how well does Britney Spears sing?-
as far movies are concerned- a lot of the actors/actresses aren’t top notched-
its kind of disappointing to see TV shows where all it is someone like Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian-
doesn’t it seem like these days- its not longer about talent anymore-
given i do like amy winehouse, common, alicia keys, india arie, talib, etc. there are few singers/actors/actresses i like.
i also like the tyler perry movies…
but overall a lot of the horror movies seem the same- a lot of the films i’ve seen and even songs i’ve heard don’t touch me on a spiritual level, or make me think about life or myself-
what do you think?
i don’t even watch the TV anymore- it seems like it brainwashes way too much- especially the news.
